Lewis provided us with a timeframe for his work and he kept to this timeframe, so we were able to organise temporary accommodation for my mum while the renovation took place. He is across the Australian Standards/Building Codes and collaborated with our OT to ensure the appropriate placement of the grab rails, toilet and shower, and the location and height of the wash basin as my mother required various assistive technologies for her mobility. Lewis Mann and his team, Sam and Darcie, and associated tradesmen, have created a beautiful bathroom addition to a large bedroom for a person with increasing physical difficulties. The brick house with sloping timber ceiling presented a number of challenges that were discussed and cheerfully overcome. At every stage, from planning to completion, they consulted with us about every detail, giving helpful and thoughtful professional advice using their knowledge of disability requirements. Lewis’ team and his tradesmen happily negotiated embankment steps in the garden to bring tools and equipment into the site and take away building debris. Everything was kept clean and tidy at the end of each day’s work. We enjoyed their cheerful and friendly presence during the build and are very happy with the result.
